Revlon custom creations QUESTION?

http://www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/ProductDetails.aspx?SubCategoryID=3%26amp;ProductID=134

I was thinking, in order for it to make a certain shade, it would have to put in a little bit of light foundation and some dark... what if you are really pale colored, and it wouldn't have to put a lot of dark foundation into it... aren't you just wasting a lot of money, considering you can't even use the whole bottle?

For those of you who have used it, how do you like it?

How do you know when it runs out of the dark or light foundation?

Isn't the bottle really big?Revlon custom creations QUESTION?
My advice? Its a waste, yea it adds some of each color from each side to get your shade, but one side runs out faster then the other. So you get to waste all that makeup, rather than buying a perfect shade and use it all.. what a waste.

i liked it but personallly i found using that made my face feel cakey after a while so i switched to MAC powder foundation and i swear by it i love love love itFoundation help?? Revlon Custom Creations?
In my opinion any drugstore foundation sucks. use the good stuff. its worth the extra money.

I didn't like it as well as their Colorstay. Unlike Colorstay, it had a thin consistency, didn't cover as well, and tended to be more on the orange side. I would definately not recommend it to girls/women with an olive tone to their complexion.

I think the opinions I gave above are probably all cons. The only pro I can say about it, is that it's fairly easy to apply. You just turn the dial and pump it a few times until it turns into the shade you want and then apply it. But other than that, I wouldn't buy it.
If your looking for good foundation I'd suggest Avon.

especially Cream to powder foundation, Its defiantly one of the best + worth your money :)
As long as its oil free and doesn't clog your pores. I'd say it would be fine. Oh and test it before you buy it to see if you like it.

    :)
a make up artist once tried it on me for a shoot, i thought it was a lil heavy, to make it more sheer use a foundation brush,or moisturizer. i think perscriptives flawless in tawny is perfect for my darl medium skin, and well worth the 40+ dollars
pros: smooth aplication, as long as your skin isnt dry AT ALL! good colors.

cons: gets flakey on the slightest bit of dry skin, thick. if you are a shade 2 or 1, you use of half of the bottle sooner than the rest

my exspirence: ok so i have combo skin, that is oily in the summer and dry in the winter. this covers minor breakouts pretty well and covers white pimples well. it is kind of thick, which im now looking for a new, thinner foundation. it does mask my redish cheeks.

i was amazed when i bought this in the summer, because it gave me medium coverage, making my face look mostly flawless (but left it looking not super perfect, so it looks natural) and lasted pretty long. something that was bad though, in hot weather it came off a bit on my clothes

in winter however, it caked over the tiny bit of dry skin, so when my skin got even more dry, it looked horrible and didnt seem to cover as well.

the breakdown: its great if you have normal/oily skin with none to mild acne

its great. ive always had trouble finding foundation because of my skin tone but with this i get the perfect tone every time. i get the medium/deep and setting 3 is perfect for me. the consistency of it is great too, its not heavy or oily and has great coverage and lasts pretty well with only a few touch ups if im sweating alot.

i use a tinted moisturizer first then follow with this although it can be used alone, and then to make it even more natural looking i use a powder mineral foundation over it which kind of buffs it out and helps set it but thats just me. but you should try it, its totally worth it. and the bottle lasts a while too even with everyday wear

Has anyone ever tried Revlon Custom Creations? Does it work well. Also where do they sell it because whenever i go to pharmacies lie Rite Aid or Cvs, they don't have it.Revlon custom creations?
Try Longs or Wal*Mart. Maybe Target. It's still pretty new so give it another week before you give up the search. Try makeupalley.com for reviews on it (they have reviews of every makeup ever made)Revlon custom creations?
try WALGREENS or try using Google to find it Report Abuse

    Revlon Custom Creations Foundation?

Does anyone know if the Revlon Custom Creations Foundation contains any oil in it? I have acne-prone skin (adult acne) and I always make sure to use a foundation that doesn't contain any oil. Usually it says so on the bottle, but not this one. However, I checked the ingredients and it didn't say it had any oil in it, but I'm wondering if there's a scientific term for oil that I'm not sure of. It's been going good so far, no unusual breakouts. It's very creamy but I don't think it's oily.Revlon Custom Creations Foundation?
    Ingredients

    Water - Aqua , Cyclomethicone , Dimethicone , Butylene Glycol , Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone , HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer , Trisiloxane , Boron Nitride , Talc , PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone , Nylon-12 , Sodium Chloride , Trimethylsiloxysilicate , Phenyl Trimethicone , Tocopheryl Acetate , Panthenol , Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate , Grape Seed Extract - Vitis Vinifera , Centaurea Cyanus Flower Extract , Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract , Panax Ginseng Root Extract , Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract , Alumina , Silica , Methicone , Tribehenin , Isostearic Acid , Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate , Triethoxycaprylysilane , Triethanolamine , Sorbitan Sesquioleate , Ammonium Poly Acryloyldimethyl Taurate , Polysorbate 20 , Polysorbate 80 , Tetrasodium EDTA , Phenoxyethanol , Methylparaben , Ethylparaben , Propylparaben , Titanium Dioxide - CI 77891 - May Contain , Iron Oxides - CI 77491 - 77492 - 77499 - May Contain , Mica - May Contain

extracts are usually oil. talc is known for clogging pores as well.

the ones ending in -icone are forms of silicone. panthenol is a moisturizer/emollient (which is where Pantene pro-v got its name from).

anyways i just looked up the ones that stuck out to me so ya do count on it having some sort of oil. although if it works for you then you should be OK. just make sure you remove it thoroughlyRevlon Custom Creations Foundation?
Well if a foundation is non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores)it is usually always stated on the bottle...because that means the company spent money proving that their ingredients don't clog pores and cause acne. So if it doesn't state oil-free or non-comedogenic, it probably isn't!

whats the deal with revlon custom creations foundation? is it good? where can you find it ?Revlon custom creations?
Like the other respondent mentioned, there's 5 colors in the bottle and a rotating dial to let you choose the setting for color. In my experience it was a little wasteful because more product is dispensed than you actually need, and a little goes a long way for me. Custom creations has pretty good coverage; it starts out natural and you can build-up to about medium level. It's kind of good if you are like most people and go one shade up in your foundation in the summer, if you are a bit more tan. And then in winter you can go a shade down. When I used it I get a satin-matte finish. It's worth a shot if you have some extra spending money (~$13.99 at Walgreens) and want a makeup fix :)

Oh, sorry--I didn't read your other question about Sugar lip topping. It's kind of a fun thing, not something I would wear everyday. They are also pretty pricy, about $14 and most of them are frosty shades, frosty blue, pink, white, and gold. The granules of the sugar are actually too fine and small to be felt on your lips, so it's not a grainy feeling at all. I bought the light frosty pink one. It has a dipstick applicator that you use to put it on and it's got a very high glassy shine. Not something I would wear to school but if you go out, maybe you'd like it. :)Revlon custom creations?
I really like it you have 5 shades to chose from in one bottle GREAT if you are starting to tan. i got mine at the grocery store
