Maybelline Colossal vs. Bourjois Volume Clubbing?

i've been asking around my friends and family what their favourite mascara is, and these were the most popular. But i'm still not sure which to buy.


Please give me some pros/cons about each one, and why you prefer which one.

I have both and maybelline collosol really lifts and defines your lashes making your eyelashes look think and long and full of volume..

its reaaally gunky and gloopy and makes your lashes look reaally clumpy and its expensive compared to how bad it is and how long it lasts..


it dries out really fast and as i sad before its soooooooooo clumpy!! =[

CON: i find it kinda dry and you cant build your lashes up that great with it.


PRO: it makes them long but...


CON: they kinda look feathery.....





i also have bourjois pump up the volume which is reallly nice maybe nicer than the volume clubbing but..


PRO (of clubbing): you get really nice think lashes


CON:it takes a while to apply to get a good look (eyelash curlers!!!)


PRO:the brush is good - the maybelline brush LOOKS good but actually would be better being smaller.

yeah bourjois volume clubbing was crap for me, very clumpy.


just left my lashes all stuck together and sticky, not very nice!


i like to put 2 coats on but with volume clubbing it just made my lashes look awful.


haven't tried colossal but i work at boots and this seems very popular, it's also not too expensive.


on a personal note, i like sexy curves by rimmel. it makes my eyelashes look long and curly and doesn't clump (: plus it's in a pretty purple tube lol.

The volume clubbing has a massive brush with huge spaces between the brissles - so as a result my eyelashes were clumped together and had lumps of mascara just stuck to them. A pro however is that there is alot of mascara in the tube. Which mascara you buy depends on what way you like you lashes to look. If you like them full them buy a drier mascara like some maybelline ones. If you like them to look natural but longer then a wetter one with those new plastic bristles is best, like masterpiece/masterpiece max
I have never used maybelline colossal but bourjois mascaras are all fantastic! In my opinion they are twice as good as top end mascaras like Chanel (cost me almost double and not worth it).
definately maybeline, maybeline have won loads of awards specifically for their mascaras. i have it and think its brillaint, bourjois can be very clumpy.
volume clubbin is crap


the brush has big gaps so it cant evenly comb ur lashes, an the formulas really thick an gunky, doesnt add length jus leaves u with clumped lashes

well I tried thr Colossal %26amp; it flaked! I had bits of balck mascara under my eyes after a few hours.


I like Bourjois as it's a good brand but haven't tried their mascaras.
Bourjois Volume Clubbing i like this one because of the tube it comes in and the volume your lashes go to. A nice dark black colour that doesnt fade
